USEFUL INFORMATION

AIR CONDITIONING

All rooms are equipped with individually controlled air conditioners. Please note that the air condition turns off automatically if you leave the door of youρ room (or balcony) open.

ANIMALS & PETS

No animals are allowed in the hotel, other than service dogs, with the appropriate documentation. All pets must be accompanied at all times both in and out of the rooms and be on a lead.

AIRPORT

Heraklion International Airport (code HER) is only 20′ minutes away from the hotel. Approximately 25km.

BANKS

Banks are open daily from Monday to Friday. Most major banks are in the nearby town of Heraklion.

BEACH AREA

The nearest beach is 200m from the hotel at the village of Agia Pelagia.

BATHROOM TOWELS

We kindly ask you not to use the room’s white towels for the beach or the pool.

BILLING

Accounts are fully digital. Account information can be obtained at the reception at any time. For a faster check-out please contact front desk one day prior to your departure.

BREAKFAST

Buffet breakfast is served at Bostani restaurant.

BUS SERVICE

There is a daily public bus service to Heraklion and other cities. The bus station is located directly outside the hotel. For more information and time schedule please contact reception.

CAR & MOTO RENTAL

Our Reception staff will be pleased to provide you with information on options and prices.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIME

14.00 is the check-in and 11.00 is the check-out time. Late check-out is possible only by prior arrangement with the front desk, depending on availability and at an extra charge. We kindly request you to be punctual at check-out in order for us to prepare the rooms for incoming guests.

CHURCH SERVICE

The nearest church is located 300m from the hotel (Agia Marina Church). For service hours please contact the Reception.

DRESS CODE

Casual smart dress code is required in all indoor public areas of the hotel after 19:00 hrs. No swim-wear is allowed during dinner time.

ELECTRICITY/ VOLTAGE

The Hotel’s electricity supply is 220-240 V.

The hotel offers an outdoor Gym area, curated by fitness trainer and calisthenics professional Mr. Georgios Dramitinos.

We do not offer Half Board holiday packages.

All rooms and suites are equipped with a Nespresso machine. Upon arrival we offer you some capsules as a welcoming gift.

Free parking is available in the parking area located inside & outside of the hotel entrance.

The nearest pharmacy is located in the nearby village of Agia Pelagia.

May be arranged through the reception at a small charge.

POOLS

The hotel offers 2 main pools. One by the Pool bar and one directly below the Reception which is part of our “Quiet Zone”.

POOL TOWELS

Please refrain from using the hotel’s towels at the beach. Please make sure you return the towels in the room on your departure date. A charge of 15€ will be applied to your account for any un-returned towels. Change of pool towels cost 2€ for environmental purposes.

RESTAURANTS

At Irida Hotel we offer Bostani a la cart restaurant for dinner and the Pool Bar for a la carte lunch.

REMOTE CONTROLS

Loss of TV or A/C remote controls results in an additional charge of 25€.

ROOM SERVICE

Please dial 419 to order from the restaurant and the bar. Please note that there is a service charge for every room service order.

SAFE BOX

All rooms are equipped with safe deposit box, free of charge.

SAFETY

Please do not use your own cooking devices in the rooms.
When leaving the room always ensure that the door has been properly closed.
Do not leave valuables outside the safe-box as the hotel assumes no responsibility for any loss.

SNACK BOX

Should you wish a snack box instead of breakfast please inform Reception the day before until 18.30.

SPA

We offer various SPA treatments. This is a paid service.

SUNBEDS

Sunbeds and parasols are available at the pool areas free of charge. Reserving the sunbeds is not allowed and personal items will be removed in such a case.

SUPER MARKET

The nearest super market is approximately 0.5km away.

SWIMMING POOLS

In the hotel’s premises you can find 2 freshwater outdoor pool. One of them is a quiet zone. Please read the rules of using the pool located adjacent to the bar.
