On the terrace of IRIDA Hotel, BOSTANI restaurant overlooks the serene and picturesque bay of Agia Pelagia. Inspired by the idea of the philosophy “Farm to table” and Zero km we choose handpicked ingredients straight from our vegetable garden, bostani, and other products from selected local producers.
Rows of tomatoes, peppers, zucchini and aubergines with the aromas of the herbs of basil, marjoram, thyme and mint highlight the nutritional value of the pure products of the Cretan land. Our chef Karen Kroehn and her team believe that the only way to appreciate and understand the cuisine of such a special place is by instinct and emotion, so they have created a special menu with flavors of fire and sea. The culinary journey into the Cretan cuisine is complemented by excellent wine labels from local vineyards.
